How it works.

  1. Create an album

    Uploads always go into an album, so make one first.

  2. Pick a way in

    Easy Upload for most days. Mega Upload or FTP for big batches.

  3. Add your files

    Browse or drop in photos, RAW files, video, and PDFs.

  4. Start Upload

    Files appear in the album, and videos get their viewing sizes.

Easy UploadBrowse or drop files right in your browser.
  1. Open the album you created and click Easy Upload.
  2. Click Browse (pick several at once) or drag files onto Drop files here.
  3. Click Start Upload at the lower right. Each file shows its progress.

The page shows which album the files go into, so there’s nothing else to fill in.

Mega UploadFor larger batches.
  1. In your album, click Mega Upload.
  2. Click Browse or drop files in. Use Add more files to keep going.
  3. Click Start Upload.

You can switch the list to Tiles, or clear it with Remove all files.

FTP UploadHigh-volume transfers with File Explorer or an FTP app.
  1. In your album, click FTP Upload for your connection details.
  2. Connect to ftp.imageevent.com with your ImageEvent username and password.
  3. Open the folder for your album and upload. Its README.TXT shows upload status.
  • Windows: File Explorer, FileZilla, CuteFTP, or WS_FTP.
  • Mac: FileZilla, Fetch, or Transmit.
  • Files may take a few seconds to appear while they process.
  • Trouble connecting? Try passive (PASV) mode in your FTP app.

There’s no fixed cap on the number of files or the total size. Video, RAW, and Office files are part of Premium.

Videos play right in the album. The player has volume, a timeline, Settings, Cast, picture-in-picture, and fullscreen.

Settings → Speed: 0.2×, 0.5×, 0.7×, 1×, 1.2×, 1.5×, 1.7×, or 2×.

Open Video Properties from any video to see its sizes, such as 720p H.264 and 1080p AV1. Each row has Copy URL, Download, and Open.

Upload defaultsWhere new photos go, matching names, and web quality.

In Global Settings → Uploading:

  • New photos slot in: for example, From last number.
  • Same filename as an old file: for example, Rename new file.
  • JPEG quality (generated sizes): from Smallest files to Highest quality. It affects the web copies, not your originals.
  • FTP new folders.
