Global Settings apply account-wide defaults. Use the default values when unsure, then refine settings as your workflow evolves.
Global Settings manage default behavior for albums, thumbnails, layout, navigation, and uploads. These values are designed to work well for most accounts, and they can be overridden later at album level when needed.
Use default settings when unsure.
Select the default album viewer from Pop-up, Photo, or Album view.
Choose the default slideshow delay in seconds.
Select the maximum number of guestbook entries shown per album page.
Choose who receives guestbook notifications: owner, guests, owner & guests, or none. Guests must opt in when signing.
Enable or disable visible visit and hit counts in albums.
Enable this to allow guests to send selected images by email.
Allow guests to download selected images in available sizes. Note: if right-click is disabled in an album, download may be restricted there.
Set an account-wide copyright statement shown with images where supported.
Choose Yes/No/Disallow. Meta tags help search engines understand keywords and descriptions. Use "Disallow" to block search indexing.
Show or hide file size (KB) and image dimensions (pixels) in enlarge view.
Set the default medium generated image size (e.g., 640x480 or 576x432).
Enable or disable thumbnail numbers for guests.
Choose what happens when an enlarged image is clicked: Print @ Home, Back to Album, View Original, Next Image, or Do Nothing.
Choose Fixed centered width or Maximum browser width for your home page and albums.
Display guestbook/comment form above or below thumbnails.
Show or hide album/folder navigation links for guests.
Show or hide sharing options (invitations and sharing tools) for guests.
Choose slideshow controls: Show Both, Enlarged Only, or None.
Choose Show With Details, Show, or Disable EXIF camera metadata display.
Select whether uploads are arranged from first image or last image.
When a filename already exists, choose to overwrite or rename automatically.
Choose generated JPEG compression quality (Highest, Normal, Low, Lowest). This affects generated images only, not originals.
Enable FTP client folder creation to build upload hierarchies. Uploading is allowed to leaf folders only.
