My Home Bar & Folder Bar

While signed in on your Home page or inside a folder, the purple strip under the welcome area is My Home Bar (at Home) or Folder Bar (inside a folder). Use it to create and organize albums and folders, edit listing settings, personalize look, open Private Links, and Link Album. It is not for editing photos inside one album—that is the Album Bar.

What these bars are for
These bars appear only when you are logged in as the owner. Guests never see them. The same actions appear in both Classic and Enhanced listing layouts; labels stay My Home Bar on Home and Folder Bar inside a folder.

Use the bars when you are looking at a listing of albums and folders. Once you open a single album, switch to the Album Bar for Guest Upload, Email Album, Invite Friends, Order prints, and photo tools.

My Home Bar
On your Home page (your username URL), the bar is labeled My Home Bar. Typical actions:

Create Album — new album at the top level of your site
Create Folder — new top-level folder
Edit My Home — title, message, security, listing style
Personalize — colors and theme for Home
Private Links — unlisted links to your Home listing (when Home privacy allows)
Link Album — place a linked album view on Home without moving files

Folder Bar
Inside a folder, the same strip is labeled Folder Bar. Actions apply to this folder:

Create Album — new album inside this folder
Create Subfolder — when folder depth allows (deep nesting has a limit; if the button is missing, create albums here instead or move content up a level)
Edit Folder — title, description, URL, security
Personalize — style for this folder’s listing
Private Links — unlisted links so guests can browse nested folders and albums (not shown for Personal folders)
Link Album — linked album view inside this folder

What each button does

Create Album — New album in the current location (Home or this folder). See Creating Album.
Create Folder / Create Subfolder — New folder for grouping albums. See Creating Folder.
Edit My Home / Edit Folder — Title, description, security, listing options. Home help: Working with Home page.
Personalize — Colors and theme for Home or this folder.

If you are looking for Guest Upload or Email Album and only see Create Album / Edit Folder, open the album first—those tools live on the Album Bar.

Tips and View as Guest

Guests never see these bars. Use View as Guest to confirm what visitors see.
Title-row Share (separate from the purple bar) includes Share link (public listing URL) and Private link (unlisted /c/…), plus Manage private links. See Share button.
For a client delivery folder, create the folder, set privacy (Shared or Hidden), then use Folder Bar Private Links or title-row Share → Private link. See Private Links for a folder.
Listing rows can show Guest Upload, Approve (N), Private Links, upload shortcuts, Invite, Email, and more for each album—same family of actions as the Album Bar once you open the album.
If you expected Guest Upload or Email Album and only see Create Album / Edit Folder, open the album first—those tools are on the Album Bar (and often on that album’s listing row), not only on My Home Bar.
Classic and Enhanced listings both offer the same owner actions.
