Lori Ann's Visit 2007 (May 25, 2007)What a wonderful day! First thing this morning, we visited Cathedral Gardens in Henryville, IN and let me just say it is the most beautiful place I've ever seen. I truly think it is the closest thing to Heaven on Earth as is possible.
Then, later in the day, we went to Churchill Downs in Louisville, KY where we were escorted to a private suite that faced the track, given a tour to the paddock, trainer's area, and were treated like we actually had money, when we really don't. I have to say, I could get used to the way the other half lives! |

2006 Vacation (May 27th-June 5th)| This year we went back through LA, TX and NM to Utah and Colorado. The boys' first main attraction was of course Cabela's in Fort Worth, then on to The Canyonlands NP and Arches NP, before heading through Colorado to the Dinosaur Monument. Our destination was the Grand Tetons NP and Yellowstone NP again, then the boys of course had to stop at the Bass Pro Shop in Springfield, MO again before heading home. |
