Hegnach, St-Nikolauskirche The 'modern' nave dates from 1487. Some parts are older. 'Chimney' type tower.

Hegnach, avantguard another trendy gable. Shortcut to a Louvres green house.

Pylon and livestock tub [In somewhat doubtful taste, also a choice location for defeating an evil wizard. Time honored challenge: If an unworthy chap like me can pass water against a low voltage cattle fence than a big wizard like you should have no problems with a few high tension wires.]

Hohenacker, periphery Am undecided if it is an art deco radio factory or the new Chinese Embassy. Location in field of Indian corn certainly intriguing.
Neustadt , Martinskirche
Neustadt, Martinskirche
Church will be 14th century. A smaller version of the Michaelskirche in Waiblingen (which may not yet have been built at that date). - One of the slanted louvers slats needs fixing.
The word 'louver' is derived from 'le ouvert (as chimney opening)'. The destinction between opening and protective cover is somewhat blurred. The blurring is also traditional. You can market window frames and glass panes but hardly 'wind-eyes'.
Neustadt, Martinskirche The dial is secured by about 10 hooked L-nails. The nails are driven into the gaps between the bricks. Exactly what you would avoid if you had dowels and a power drill. Some rust runnels. The hands would benefit from a work over by a manicurist. The 'Atropos scissors' will close 11 times in a 12 hour period.

Trabant 601 Trabant 601 Universal, the ongoing saga.
Trabant 601 Reunion poster: The trailer hitch is a non standard feature. The given distance Waiblingen-Zwickau is wrong by about 200 km. Actually nearly 400 km, whatever geodesic shortcuts you may choose. The vehicle participated in a vote by your feet /tires rally anno 1989. Last one left behind is a rotten egg. Hungary served as turntable. Total mileage is not given.
Trabant 601 Steering wheel with aligned gear shift lever. Some French cars ( Citroën and Renault? have them too, at least some models). As long as it works. An empty fish tin, fried herring fillet in tasty marinade, net weight 325 gr, standard discount market item, serves as receptacle for the spare spark plugs and the matching spanner.
Neustadt, Wella Beauty saloon (hair dresser). 50ties style franchise sign, some customization (name of the franchise holder as stick on letters). The logo evokes perms (waves anything). 'Silsul temidi' as 20th century loan rendition. The sky color is rather universal.
Neustadt, service point shop Combined service point shop, survivor model. Admittedly not quite as glitzy as your usual boutique, here today, gone tomorrow. The dry cleaning pick up service will bring the bulk of the customers (mostly female). At least two major mail order services are available. Reduced shipping costs one of the attractions. Internet illiteracy could also be an issue. Not sure about the guardian angel poster and the cemetery flavored mantelpiece items. Actual insurance policies would be a conceivable complement.
Neustadt I do not believe that the flag mount (looks like one) was used in the last 30 years. Would probably take more than one reunification to change that.

coin vending machine Not sure if the term coin vending machine is still appropriate. Check cards are apparently also accepted.
