ULLEUNGDO KOREA (Sept 16, 17, 18, 19, 2008)As Teachers of Korea International School, Cheusok Holiday was our first full week of vacation enabling us to see some sites in Korea. We decided to take the 3 hour car trip to the East Coast Beaches, hop on the 2 1/2 hour ferry to the Volcanic Island of Ulleung-do for a car tour of the island. The tremendously winding roads high above the cliffs and ocean are only for those who have no fear of heights. A boat tour of the island is a must and provides a relaxing view of the majesty of the island. We then rested on the East coast at the beautiful Mangsang Beach.

If you ever make it to Ulleung-do Island, call Sung (pronounced Song) Lim 016-9711-6337 qslim@hanmail.net He is the only English speaker on the island. He is not in the tourist business but He was kind enough to take us around for a day in his car. And we tipped him very well for his services. And you should too. China Dalian (2004-2005)| Shenyang was 'The Sound of Music' International Tour 3rd city in China after Shanghai and Beijing. Shenyang is pleasent but not extremely touristy. So Adriana (Brigitta) and Greg (Kurt) took a week end to enjoy the sea side city of Dalian, China. |

China's Venice (2004-2005)| The Sound of Music Asia company traveling Asia until April 2005 had a day trip to Suzhou & Zhouzhuag, China. Suzhou, about 1 1/2 hours outside of Shanghai, is known for its fabulous array of gardens going back ot the Qing dynasty. Zhouzhuang is an ancient water town best seen by gondola. Join Adriana, "Brigitta", as she tours these cities. |

Korea Ski Trip (February 20, 2010)Teachers from Korea International School traveled 2 1/2 to the beautiful Yongpyeong Ski Resort to spend a day skiing, snowboarding, using the sauna room, taking the Gondola to the top of the mountain and hiking. What beautiful views!
