59.ULLEUNGDO KOREAAs Teachers of Korea International School, Cheusok Holiday was our first full week of vacation enabling us to see some sites in Korea. We decided to take the 3 hour car trip to the East Coast Beaches, hop on the 2 1/2 hour ferry to the Volcanic Island of Ulleung-do for a car tour of the island. The tremendously winding roads high above the cliffs and ocean are only for those who have no fear of heights. A boat tour of the island is a must and provides a relaxing view of the majesty of the island. We then rested on the East coast at the beautiful Mangsang Beach.

If you ever make it to Ulleung-do Island, call Sung (pronounced Song) Lim 016-9711-6337 qslim@hanmail.net He is the only English speaker on the island. He is not in the tourist business but He was kind enough to take us around for a day in his car. And we tipped him very well for his services. And you should too.
