 | 9.Toreq 18 yard scraperYou will find that the Toreq's built by Steiger are industry leaders when it comes to durability, workability and resale. Steiger began the production of Toreq scrapers in 1970, at the same facility that the first 125 4-wheel drive tractors were built. Over the last 36 years they have become known as the best hydraulic eject on the market.
The 18-yard Toreq weighs app. 17,500 lbs. It has a 116" cut. The front gate opens app. 59". The scraper has 22" clearance under the cutting edge when raised. It has 18.4X24 R'3's in front, and 24.5x32's in the rear (Firestones). Rear spindles adjust independent of one another so if you ruin a tire, and only one tire is changed, you can still level up the scraper (tire heights will vary 3-4" between brands).The scraper features hardened pins; major pins go through bushings. It has machined and steel welded hubs inside of gusseted wheels.
All cylinders are built by Steiger, and have screw on the outside endcaps. The 3-piece HD cutting edge is 3/4" thick. The scraper has an 18" spill plate on the ejection gate. Notice the size of the gate arms and frame work in the pictures. There has never been a bent or broken spindle on a Toreq scraper.

This scraper is built by Steiger Mfg, the same company that started the 4-wheel drive revolution on family farms and construction sites. Steiger has been building Toreq hydraulic eject scrapers since 1970. They are industry leaders when it comes to durability, workability and resale.
As with all Toreq scrapers, the pins are hardened and replaceable, and all major pins go through bushings. Cylinders are Steiger built with screw on the outside endcaps.The rear axles adjust independent of each other. This feature is critical if you ruin a tire and replace with a different brand or different height. With the adjustable axles you can level the cut of the scraper. The wide front gate opening (54" gate to cutting edge) and 14-22" of clearance under the cutting edge allow this scraper to handle sod or sticking dirt VERY well.

The scraper has 17"-22" clearance under the cutting edge when raised. It has 24.5 x 32's on the rear (Firestones). Take a look at the pond pictures further down on the main page. This scraper really heaps dirt well. We believe that it will carry as much or more dirt than most 14 yard scrapers. The over sized rear tires allows this scraper to handle soft conditions excellent.

 | 12.Toreq 10, 12 & 14 yard wide cut direct mHere are a few pics of a Toreq 10 yard wide cut direct mount scraper. Steiger also builds 12 & 14 yard scrapers in this design.
As with all of the Toreq scrapers, these models feature: hardened pins and bushing, cylinders with screw on the outside endcaps, wide gate openings and plenty of clearance under the cutting edge to handle sticky dirt or sod.
These scrapers can be pulled in tandem. They feature trunion mounted cylinders.
In the future Steiger plans on building a 17 yard Toreq with an even wider cut.

 | 14.Toreq 40" PTO ditcherHere are a few pics of the Toreq ditcher, made by Steiger mfg
The ditcher in these pic's only has two cutting paddles, but all of the new ditchers have four. The wheel on the new ditchers is square, instead of round. The 4 paddles and square wheel make the ditcher pull much easier.

In most soils, the ditcher will throw dirt 75'-300'. It does not leave a ridge of dirt along the cut like many ditchers do.
