The ditcher in these pic's only has two cutting paddles, but all of the new ditchers have four. The wheel on the new ditchers is square, instead of round. The 4 paddles and square wheel make the ditcher pull much easier.

Heavy splined PTO shaft, can be used on 540, small or big 1000 PTO,,,, It pulls the easiest on 540
Safety shear bolts are at the end of the paddles, and also on the drive line
Front screen hinges to allow easy access to driveline shear bolts and grease points
Designed for cat-2 or cat-3, high or low, quick hitches
The ditcher pivots at the 3-point to allow constant grade
Rear hydraulic guage wheel with depth guage
Two bearings in both bearing collars (greasable)
Left side discharge
In most soils, the ditcher will throw dirt 75'-300'. It does not leave a ridge of dirt along the cut like many ditchers do.
