Toreq's are built by Steiger mfg, the family that started the 4-wheel drive tractor revolution across North America.
As with all Toreq scrapers, the pins are hardened and replaceable, and all major pins go through bushings. It uses the same dolly swivel, lift and gate cylinders as the 13 yard Toreq. The rear axles adjust independent of each other. This feature is critical if you ruin a tire and replace with a different brand or different height. With the adjustable axles you can level the cut of the scraper. The wide front gate opening (54" gate to cutting edge) and 14" clearance under the cutting edge allow this scraper to handle sod or sticking dirt VERY well.
Some of the other features that make the Toreq stand out are: machined and welded steel hubs,,,,,, reinforced solid center rims,,,,,,, diamond tread tires,,,,,,, knuckle block steering made from T-1 steel with large hardened pins and bushings on the main stem,,,,,,, tungsten wear ring under the knuckel steer,,,,,, Steiger built cylinders with screw on the outside end caps and industry leading rod sizes,,,,,, 1" thick formed gate arms,,,,,,, 1/2" thick tubular steel in the neck, cross and draft arms.

We sell several brands of scrapers, but the bulk of our scraper sales are Toreq's made by Steiger Mfg. Our business exploded when we became a Toreq dealer in December of 1993. Since 1994 we have been the largest Toreq dealer in the United States. We were also the largest Leon dealer five years in a row. We believe that our knowlege, price and commitment to customers has made us one of the largest ag and small contractor scraper dealer in the North America.
There are 12 models of the Toreq scrapers. Six models have dolly wheels on the front, and six models are direct hitch. We carry most models in stock.
Steiger also builds a 3-point PTO ditcher that has been a great seller and customers like it for a quick fix draining fields. It has a 40" cutting wheel. Recent changes have made it pull substantially easier.

 | 29.Forbidden Fruit Lucite Jewelry-Austria
Desirable Forbidden Fruit lucite jewelry with embedded rhinestones.
Made in Austria in the late 1940's - early 1950's
Characteristics of "Forbidden Fruit" jewelry is that
they are either made of an opaque lucite or a translucent lucite of some color (but can also be clear) with embedded rhinestones. An example of coloring is the lemon which is a translucent yellow lucite
with embedded yellow rhinestones.
Forbidden Fruit typically has some sort of metal incorporated into the piece like the enamel painted leaves on the fruits, or the body of the butterfly, the bee on the bee hive, the stem of the mushroom, the husk on the corn, the radish tops, the eggplant leaf, etc. One piece that doesn't have metal is the watermelon.
They were Austrian made and were most likely produced in the late
1940's early 1950's. In Harrice Miller's Official Price Guide to
Costume Jewelry (Third Edition) page 76-77 it states they were made in the 1930's but most feel they were made later.
My understanding is that the original cards that the pieces were sold on were labeled Forbidden Fruit so this name has been generally used for all the Austrian lucite embedded rhinestone pieces - not just the
fruit pieces.
