Solar Eclipse March 2006 (Wednesday 29 March 2006)At 13:55:22 on Wednesday 29 March 2006, Solar Eclipse Totality occurred in Turkey.
We watched and photographed this awesome natural phenomenum from the top of the Oymapinar Dam in the Taurus Mountains in Turkey.
I have wanted to see a full solar eclipse since I was a kid and it was therefore a very moving moment; one that I shall never forget. That I was able to obtain these photographs is merely a bonus for me. In no way do they capture the essence of the experience - to do that, you have to be there... |
