CrestedLark 2006-03 (Turkey)-001 On the first morning, on the way to Perge, we had a bit of a birdfest and this Crested Lark (Galerida cristata) proved very amenable to being photographed!

| CrestedLark 2006-03 (Turkey)-003 But now he/she has had enough - back turned (bit of anthropomorphism on my behalf there methinks!)
| F&M-Wheatear 2006-03 (Turkey)-001 These male (on the right) and female wheatear (Oenanthe oenanthe) look as if they have having a row! You can just imagine a suitable caption!

| Turkey-Jellyfish 2006-03 005 This one if what I assume is a different species, possibly even a different genus - or it may be a young or old one of the same as the other photos - who knows! Anyway, this photo even includes what I assume are jellyfish eggs! Perhaps it is a "mummy" jellyfish ;-)
| Turkey-SeaCucumber 2006-03 I think this is a Sea Cucumber, but I could be very wrong...
|
Turkey-SeaWeed Wot it says!
| Turkey-WildGoats 2006-03 001 This one caught my eye because it nicely captures an artistic phenomenon that fascinates me - chiaroscuro - light and shade (though there is a bit of colour, i.e the green)...
