On the first morning, on the way to Perge, we had a bit of a birdfest and this Crested Lark (Galerida cristata) proved very amenable to being photographed!

But now he/she has had enough - back turned (bit of anthropomorphism on my behalf there methinks!)

These male (on the right) and female wheatear (Oenanthe oenanthe) look as if they have having a row!  You can just imagine a suitable caption!

Cretzschmar's Bunting (Emberiza caesia) - how groovy to see that!

Have no idea what species of duck this is, but it seemed to be a tame local variant!

Swallow (Hirundo rustica) - very lucky to have these geezers land outside my window in the hotel in Antalya :-))))  They are b******* to photograph normally coz they don't half fly fast!

We noticed loads of jellyfish in the harbour [can't remember where] and I used the opportunity to try this kind of photography - what fascinating creatures they are!

This one if what I assume is a different species, possibly even a different genus - or it may be a young or old one of the same as the other photos - who knows!  Anyway, this photo even includes what I assume are jellyfish eggs! Perhaps it is a "mummy" jellyfish ;-)

I think this is a Sea Cucumber, but I could be very wrong...

Wot it says!

This one caught my eye because it nicely captures an artistic phenomenon that fascinates me - chiaroscuro - light and shade (though there is a bit of colour, i.e the green)...
