| 1323.The Salmon netters of Mudeford BaySome time ago I took a cycling holiday that included a long stopover in Christchurch, Dorset. One day I walked to Mudeford Bay on the off-chance of seeing the last Salmon fishers on the southern coastline. I was rewarded with a half day and many hundreds of images of these stalwart gentlemen of the sea. Whether it is due to over-fishing or pollution the fishermen realise that their time is nearly over. These are the best images, in my opinion, from that day. | |

| 1331.August 2006Summer of 2006 had me on a tear to photograph Skimmers. There was plenty of opportunity in August and I snapped my fair share. Whereas this summer thankfully did not bring the area any Hurricanes and really just one tropical storm (Ernesto) the majority of sunsets were bland compared to other years. But there were a few nights I was blessed with a great show. | |

 | 1333.Mexico's Copper CanyonOur trip began in Arizona and continued into Mexico, through the Sonoran Desert. In El Fuerte we boarded the Chihuahua Pacifico train for our journey into the canyon system of six gorges, four times larger than the Grand Canyon, home of the Tarahumara Indians. Before returning to Arizona, we visited the archeological site of Paquime, a remnant of the Chichimeca civilization. | |
