This is a journey of 3,800 kms in 2003,from Perth Western Australia across the Gunbarrel Highway to Alice Springs and up the Tanami Track to Newhaven Station in the Northern Territory.  Chapter 2 continues along the Gunbarrel Highway from the Len Beadell Tree, onto Heather Highway and Great Central Road to Giles Weather Station, then a magnificent Sunset at Docker River Camping Ground, and on to Lasseter's Cave.
