ATP work for HKJC and Beijing Olympics (January 2008)The Hong Kong Jockey Club requested the help of Asia Tree Preservation Ltd. to prepare for the Beijing Olympics equestrian events that will be held in the Hong Kong Golf Course this coming August. The horse jumps are placed strategically throughout the golf course, but the surrounding trees - some as tall as 30 meters - cast a shadow on the jumps. ATP was hired to consult HKJC on how to increase sunlight on the horse jumps, thus helping the grass to grow as well as allow for more light for worldwide video coverage of the event. ATP's arborists fulfilled this request by crown thinning the surrounding ficus and maleleuca trees. |

What Are They? (February/March 2008)Image one I found mid-February floating in Tampa Bay at low tide. Since then I have found another cluster in the water without the color and some dried ones along the water's edge.
Image two I found while fishing in shallow waters in Terra Ceia Bay off of Palmetto, FL. There were a cluster of them which made this area look like a small strawberry field. We removed one for the photo then returned it.
Does anybody know what they are? |
