On an off day, a few members of The Sound of Music Tour, took off to see the Korean Folk Village. A village is about 2 hours from Seoul by subway or train. At the village there are many representations of farmer's, peasant's & manor's houses from different provinces & parts of Korea.
Sound of Music mothers, Stephanie and Deborah, join together with Sound of Music chaperone, Thomas and his family to celebrate Christmas Eve and Christmas day.
What fun .. Young Adriana and Greg from the 2004-2005 Sound of Music Asia Tour reunite to participate and sing in Houston Grand Opera's presentation of BORIS GODUNOV. All singers had to learn to sing in Russian. All the children who participated had a wonderful time and many are looking forward to doing Carmen in the Spring.
Summer trip 2006 for Adriana and Mum. Flight to Anchorage. Bicycling around Anchorage along the Coastal Trail. On to Princess Cruise 8 day trip to Vancouver, British Columbia, then Amtrak to Salem to visit nephew and niece, a side trip to the Oregon coast near Lincoln City. Then onto the overnight Amtrak Train that boards at 8:00am and ends in Los Angeles at 9:00pm the next day. Afterwards a midnight flight back home to Houston. What a wonderful trip. We are blessed.
THE SOUND OF MUSIC ASIA TOUR played major engagements in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenyang and Ningbo, China, as well as visiting Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and South Korea from May, 2004 to April 2005.
The Sound of Music Asia 2004/2005 Tour goes to Seoul Korea. Join Adriana and the rest of the cast while they try on traditional Korean clothing, celebrate her 11th birthday and see the sights of Seoul, such as Buddhists temples and other cities in South Korea and East Korea.
The Sound of Music Asia Tour landed in Malaysia on March 3, 2005 and has performances until April 3 in Kuala Lumpur. Some of our travels took us to the East Coast Beaches, a rain forest, an Elephant wildlife preserve.
The Sound of Music Asia tour arrived in Osaka Feb. 1, 2005. Some cast members visited nearby Kyoto, Japan on a lovely winter day. Osaka is also where the Japanese hosted a delightful closing party. Next stop on the tour is South Korea.
Centre Stage Theatrical School in Kingwood, Texas celebrates it 20th Anniversary by bringing in Alumni from all over the U.S. to join with current students to present favorite acts from 20 years of Broadway Shows.
