Meta (2/14/23)| This adaptable little lady is ready to fit into a new home. She came in at a skinny 9 lbs. but is eager to gain a couple to meet a good healthy weight of 11-12 lbs. Her original microchip registration tags her as being 13 years old, but her spunk, friskiness, and vitality would have you guessing significantly younger than that. We were blessed to acquire Brasseaux along with her litter sister recently. We had been searching for some time for this color to add to our line of dogs.
Brasseaux is a gorgeous, strongly marked big Decker line pup.
She shows lots of interest in the woods. On the mark for becoming a great ratter. She found her first rat nest this morning in the tall grasses...coming out with a big mouthful of nesting material. She is getting very interested in squirrels when working with our other dogs. She is showing great promise to be a strong varmint dog, all the while focusing intently on her human leader.
Brasseaux, with her strong pack personality, has been jockeying for a top position in the pack.
Timberlane is looking forward to adding her sharp colors to our line of Rat Terriers. Enjoy her photos.

Ellie ((Leslie, MI))| Say hello to lovely Ellie, a four year old well trained and very sweet 20lb rat terrier girl who loves to cuddle and go for walks. This girl gets along well with other dogs and respects the dog savvy cat in her foster home. She is a respectful terrier girl but does need a home that understands the breed because she does best with routine, structure, and lots of positive reinforcement. Ellie isn’t overly fond of the jerky movements of toddler aged kiddos so she needs to go to a home that is either past the toddler stage or very aware of how to support a terrier and toddler in harmony and safety for both. Beyond that this girl is as close to perfect as they come! |
