Beginning in Mexico City (and the nearby ancient city of Teohtihuacan), we wandered through the "Silver Cities" of central Mexico - San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato and Morelia - before flying off to the Yucatan.
After a relaxing for a few days on the island of Isla Mujeres (the laid-back neighbor of Cancun), we drove down the coast to Playa del Carmen and the onto the ruins of Coba and Chichen Itza. | |

 | 520.Tuesday Aug. 31Our last day in San Diego :( We decided to bum around San Diego and see what we could find. We found a yummy chocolate shop called Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and we saw the GIANT convention center. In the evening we went to La Jolla to see the seals and the sunset on the beach. We only saw about 3 seals, but we played in the sand and watched part of the sunset. At night we went to Rubio's with the SDSWS for some yummy fish tacos and good company. This trip was a blast and we can't wait to come back again :D | |
