Now a true half marathon with a 0.2 mile added increment to make this the one of the USA's most challenging legitimate half marathon road races.
Race director jake Clinton asked me to take at a location that really "charactrerizes" the event.
Dennis located himself at mile 12 on the "steeps" with the Los Padres Wilderness in the background. Kevin Young recommended such a site.
Eric Forte easily won the event in about 1 hour 35 minutes for 13.1 miles and 4000 ft altitude gain. |
