1755.Baby cactus photosI put a 1/2" round baby cactus in a tiny flat pot filled with soil and it not only rooted, but bloomed. The cactus is now about 3/4" in diameter. I attempted to capture the size of the cactus as well as the bloom. The flower lasts only 24 hours so I had to shoot it or lose it. It was a very sunny day, and the sun was so bright even in early morning, and the open shade was too dark for such a close shot, that I finally resorted to window light inside the house.
