It was raining the day we stopped at the Culloden Visitor center. We did go in and view their detailed museum and see the short film about the history of the battle. Dennis and Cheri tried to go out to walk around the battlefield itself. However, it started to rain too hard and they decided to come back in. Therefore, since photos were not allowed in the muesum and we could not see the battlefield, you will see we don't have many photos below.

49.FORT GEORGE

We highly enjoyed our visit to FORT GEORGE. One of the reasons we visited the fort was to see a special event put on by the Historic Scotland Organizeation. Historic Scotland is the organization that cares for many of Scotland's historic sites, including castles, Abbeys and forts.
The special event that was presented by Historic Soctland was a jousting event with knights and horses. The company that did the josting was "THE KNIGHTS OF ROYAL ENGLAND." The jousting event lasted about hour. We then toured the fort and saw the exhibits.

50.GOING TO IONA ABBEY

Below are photos of our ferry rides over to the Isle of Mull from Oban and to the Isle of Iona from the Isle of Mull. You can see by the photos how blue the water was.
Also, the water seemed quite clam as compared to the day before.
We were told it was rainning off and on the day before.
