Fort Scott Fire Damage  (March 2005) Downtown Fort Scott, Kansas survived a fire of devastating proportions on March 12, 2005.  We watched from our front porch where we could see the city skyline.  Dense clouds of black smoke poured into the air fanned by brisk winds.  Ladder pumpers sprayed water over the fire and two helicopters from the National Guard dumped water from overhead. 0 Images Linked Album kansaskate 2411.
