Remmy's Memorial Garden (May 29, 2011)| This is a memorial garden area in memory of my precious Rat Terrier, Remmy. He's buried under the right side of the deck where the marker is--I couldn't stand the thought of him being walked on or mowed over, so I bought raised plant beds and designed a deck to fit between/around them so he'd be protected. My brother built the deck just as I'd asked and it looks even better in person than in pictures. I'm very thankful to have it done to honor the little dog that l literally saved my life, then went on to share it for over 14 years. |

THE LATIN BREED...UNSTOPPABLE TOUR (Saturday May 28, 2011)A Tucson native and Lead Singer for The Latin Breed, Adalberto Gallegos, was warmly welcomed home Saturday night. The Latin Breed made two stops in Arizona as part of The Unstoppable Tour, which showcases their classic hits which spans 40 years. Tejano music at its finest!
Opening group was Festival, who did an awesome job! Joing Festival on stage was Yvette Gonzalez, another Tucson native, who is a past American Idol finalist from Season 5.
Shout Outs to Fred Soto & Adalberto of the Latin Breed! Thank you so much for the warm welcome. It was nice talking to the both of you! |
