Meet Puffin.
We adopted him in 2011
from a rescue group.
He loves to eat and sleep.
He is very good at doing both.
He makes all of our hearts smile too.
Puffin has adapted well to our move to Washington.
He loves his new home where he can
watch the wildlife right out our
front room window. Our front room faces a
large pond where we are able to see
eagles, ospreys, Canadian geese, deer
and ducks of all kinds. :) "We love you Puffin!"

1803.New Patio/Bar

We decided to do something with that back corner of the yard, behind the pool. We designed a new patio and 9ft stone bar. The project ended up taking almost all summer.

1805.The Pool!! Finally, the Pool!!!

The pool dig started the same day as Ginger went into labor. We considered ourselves complete 15 months later, August 27, 2005. Please review these pictures carefully if you ever consider undertaking such a project!

Update: 2014. A wise man once said a pool is a hole in the ground into which one pours money. That about sums it up! We still enjoy the pool but maintenance is never far out of mind. Check out the latest pics at the end of the album to see why I say that. Cheers
