Lyric and Gunner compliment each other very well, both in temperament and in physical conformation. Gunner has long legs and a more refined physique than Lyric. Lyric is a chunky monkey. She is solid muscle though. Since Gunner is a couple of inches taller than her, we are hoping that puppies will be middle of the road. Gunner's smaller ears will also tone down Lyric's larger ones in their offspring. On average these puppies should be 14-1/2 inches to 16-1/2 inches at the withers when they mature. Gunner goes to work with his owner and is used to meeting all kinds of people daily. Lyric is more reserved and distrusting by nature. Gunner's personality will give the offspring exactly the right balance. Both Lyric and Gunner have very nice movement and are structurally sound. We're excited to present these precious babies "X"Pressions of the Christmas Season Litter! All of them are bi-colors except for one, Xeno is a tri-color. We also have 4 natural bobtails in this litter. There were two born with full tails and they were docked at 3 days, along with all of them getting dewclaws removed.

ORKNEY ISLANDS
The Orkney Islands are located far in the northeast corner of Scotland. Dennis and I were able to see important "ancient" sites there that we would not have been able to see anywhere else in Scotland. Even though it was a long day, (7:15 AM to 9:00 PM) we did enjoy the tour and visit to the Islands.

Which One's Pink? in Beverly Hills (18 January 2014)
Please note: Capturing lasers requires the shutter to be open longer. I shot most of these with nearly a full second exposure. I also hand-held the laser shots here, and of course the musicians are moving on stage in the space of that time, so there is some blurring. Generally though, I think many of these images came out very well. Enjoy! -db

PUFFIN (Candy's cat)
 Meet Puffin.
We adopted him in 2011
from a rescue group.
He loves to eat and sleep.
He is very good at doing both.
He makes all of our hearts smile too.
Puffin has adapted well to our move to Washington.
He loves his new home where he can
watch the wildlife right out our
front room window. Our front room faces a
large pond where we are able to see
eagles, ospreys, Canadian geese, deer
and ducks of all kinds. :)

The Pool!! Finally, the Pool!!! (June 17, 2004 Updated 2014)The pool dig started the same day as Ginger went into labor. We considered ourselves complete 15 months later, August 27, 2005. Please review these pictures carefully if you ever consider undertaking such a project!
Update: 2014. A wise man once said a pool is a hole in the ground into which one pours money. That about sums it up! We still enjoy the pool but maintenance is never far out of mind. Check out the latest pics at the end of the album to see why I say that. Cheers |
