ENGLISH CHOCOLATE ORPINGTONS (April 4, 2016)| The Orpington was created by Mr. William Cook in the 1800’s. Since their introduction, many new colors have become available. In the late 1900’s, the British geneticist Dr. Clive Carefoot was able to observe and describe the chocolate gene in Orpingtons. The Chocolate gene is sex-linked. Hens with the chocolate gene always display chocolate color while roosters require 2 copies of the chocolate gene to show the chocolate color. Roosters with one copy of the chocolate gene do not appear chocolate. |

Breeding Plans: Ace and Millie (March 3, 2016)Millie and Ace will be bred for the first time in the spring of 2016.
Millie's puppies have been wonderful! Many are kind and loyal family pets as well as therapy dogs. Millie is a tri-factored sable and Ace is a sable merle. We look forward to the colors Ace will throw when crossed with Millie. Their litter could produce sables, sable merles, pure sables and pure sable merles, as well as black tris and blue merles.
Ace and Millie's puppies will all be normal-eyed. They will come with AKC limited registration, current vaccinations and worming, and will be fed Life's Abundance dog food from three to four weeks of age until the day you get your puppy. Your puppy will also come with a 1-year health guarantee (ask us about our extended health guarantee if your puppy is kept on Life's Abundance dog food).

Twist is double registered AKC/UKC, PLL clear by parentage, excellent conformation with a loving devoted Rat Terrier attitude. Twist is great grandson of Rosethorn Pinot Noir and gorgeous Rosethorn Cupid's Arrow his grandfather. Twist is 11 inches tall and weights in at a muscular 11 pounds.
