Axel is a very hard, sturdy dog with tight muscling, erect ear set, a great hard topline, and strong temperament. With great pedigree lines behind him, we expect he will add these traits to our upcoming litter from Scorch. Axel shares some of these same pedigree lines with our girl Texana.
Axel is owned by the Pettyjohn's of Stone Pony Farm in Texas. We are grateful that we were allowed to use Axel in our breeding program.
Axel is currently in the process of being AKC registered and OFA tested. |

We expect Standard to small Standard puppies.
With Scorch being a Mini, this breeding was done to add leg length, bone and muscle, and to generally increase the size in pups. We feel that Axel, with his hard muscling, strong back and topline will contribute to the overall sturdiness of these pups, creating a more vigorous and "salty" little Rat Terrier.

This puppy has my heart. She is so driven and feisty, but submissive to humans. She wants to go-go-go. She's independent but willing to play with you.
Jolie will only go to someone who wants a dog to do things with. She is thick, but athletic; very similar to her father's build.
Would be best suited for a past terrier owner; or someone with other working dog experience.
You might have to use all your tools in the toolbox for this girl, but she'll be worth it. |

Penny & Ace's Litter (April 28, 2016)The litter arrived on April 28, 2016. Penny is doing great and all seven puppies are healthy, strong, and beautiful. We have two black tri males and one black tri female, three sable males, and one sable merle male.
Penny is a tri-factored sable and she is the sweetest dog on earth. She adores our family and goes with us wherever we go. Her mother is Paradise Valley Millie and her father is Glasgowhill's Secret Service. She has a full white collar and is heavily white-factored. She loves to be brushed and also enjoys playing ball. She learns tricks easily and is very motivated by treats and praise. She is a pleaser! She stays as close to the kids and I as she can. We love our Lucky Penny.
Ace is a tri-factored sable merle with a full white collar and white chest. He also has blue in both eyes and his right eye is mostly blue. He came to us from Cook's Collies in Kansas. Ace is my son's first dog of his very own. He and Nate are very close and Ace always wants to please him. Nate has trained him without difficulty and has learned the value of patience. Ace is very devoted to Nate and I know he would protect him if necessary. Ace has the potential to produce all six different collie coat colors in his litters when crossed with Penny and Millie. The color chart for this cross is below.
None of the puppies in this litter are affected by CEA, CN, DM, MDR1 (sensitivity to Ivermectin) or PRA. Both Ace and Penny were genetically tested to ensure that their litter is healthy.
Puppy Price: $900 (limited AKC registration)
Puppies will be dewormed beginning at two weeks of age and will receive their first round of shots. With your puppy you will receive registration paperwork, a one year health guarantee, helpful information for raising a healthy, happy collie, and a sample of Life's Abundance dog food.
