Animals and Pets

Born 02/03/2010!!

ALL NINE PUPPIES HAVE NOW BEEN RESERVED

The time has flown and this bunch of nine beautiful puppies are now 6-1/2 weeks old. They are "chowing down" on food and drinking water on their own. They are no longer nursing. They have had their first 6-way vaccination, been wormed four times now, had three baths and had numerous toenail trims. They are playing, shredding newspapers and growing like weeds. Their individual personalities are really starting to emerge and they are such little comedians. We have enjoyed watching them develop and grow to this point.

We are very pleased with this litter! Please enjoy them with us!

The litter is dual registered with
AKC-FSS and UKC.

There are no puppies from this litter available, but if you'd like to contact us about a puppy from a future litter, please

2978.Sands' Blackbeard Treasure

Born-07/04/2008

Treasure (called Tressy) is another beauty that we've gotten from Lisa Sands. She is the sweetest little bundle of joy we could ask for, being very animated and playful. She's definitely gotten the best from both her sire and dam. One of Clare's (Treasure's Dam) most favorite places in the world is Sapelo Island located on the Georgia coast. That is why Treasure is named Blackbeard Treasure. She and two of her sisters are named for things associated with Sapelo Island. To learn more about the history associated with her name (CLICK TO READ ABOUT BLACKBEARD TREASURE)** (CLICK FOR MORE READING) Thanks Lisa for such a beauty!

Treasure is:
Black/White/Tan Piebald
11.04% Decker bloodline

Treasure is:
AKC-FSS Registered,
UKC Registered and
NRTR Registered.

At one year of age (07/04/2009), Tressy is 15 inches at the withers and weighs 18-1/2 lbs.

OFA Testing and Certification will be completed pending age requirements.

Tressy has been tested for Primary Lens Luxation. Results: NORMAL (clear)

Dam: Sands' True Romance (Clare)
Black/White/Tan (Blanket Back) Piebald

Sire: Desert High's Eye of the Storm (Dillon)
Tan/White Sable Piebald

Breeder: Lisa Sands, Southern Sands Kennels, Glennville, Georgia

2981.K2 Dogs Granted Retirement Status

These are dogs that help build the foundation of K2 Rat Terriers. Each one was a beloved part of our lives, and even though some have been placed in pet homes where they get the undivided love and attention of their new families, we are still proud to have had them in our family for a time.
