| 2656.PREMIER 2011These are pictures sent to me by fellow breeders. There was a great turnout this year. Wish I could have been there.
The pictures are not in order, just too many for me to do all at once. If anyone can comment on them as to the day, owners name or dog in the picture, please do.
Congratulations to all.
My favorite picture is of Mary Ann winning with Dunbar. It shows the pride and the love in her dogs!
May the breeders strive to better there dogs always so there will be a more definite look to our breed.

| 2661.SEEING THE PUFFINS!
A Large colony of Puffins can be found on the Treshnish Isles. The Treshnish Isles consist of many VERY small land masses. These small islands are located in a 7 mile area just off of the larger Isle of Mull. The Isle of Mull is located near the coastal town of Oban in west Scotland.
To see the puffins we took a tour by ferry and a charter boat to the Treshnish Isles. This tour leaves out of Oban and is an ALL day tour.
We will never forget our puffin tour. IT WAS BY FAR THE HIGHLIGHT OF OUR TRIP TO SCOTLAND
Below are websites about PUFFINS: 1. PROJECT PUFFIN = this site has lots of informaiton, photos, videos and everything related to PUFFINS.
2. ENCHANTED LEARNING = information and a coloring page to label about puffins.

| 2666.The visitorThis beautiful rooster just showed up on a Sunday morning, crowing his little heart out. He was super friendly--actually wanted in the house--and played hide and seek with me, too. We had him for a few days and then he disappeared as quickly as he came. I just hope that wherever he is, he's getting the love and attention he craved. He was one beautiful, very cool guy. | |

| 2668.The kittens who live in a treeA feral mother cat, one of the feral cat colony we care for, had her babies up in a 10 1/2 foot tall tree. It had been struck by lightening years before and the tree is dead, so it has a big hollowed out spot down in the middle of it and the top has been cut off leaving short stumpy areas sticking out.
The neighbor had to climb up a ladder, shimmy up the tree the rest of the way, then hang upside down in the tree to get the babies out when they were a about three weeks old and we trapped the mama to be spayed during a big snip weekend at Alley Cats. They were able to stay with her there and come home with her afterwards where we'd set up a little house for her to keep them in. We'd also set up an alternate location near the tree--a building that we'd scattered a bunch of straw under--in case she wasn't content being so visible.
Brought Mama and her babies home, put babies in cat-house, let Mama out of crate. She went and hid, so we left the babies in the cat-house and checked on them a bit later. By midnight, she had all four of them back up in the top of that freaking tree! And there they stay, over a month later. Here are the pics to prove it.
