Q continues to live up to his name! In 201,5 he was honored as ARTA's NATIONAL BEST OF BREED. Later, Q went on to win the TOP TEN BEST of BREED at Premier. Q made the Top Ten Finals and was honored with SIXTH place in TOP TEN of the TOP TEN. Q also was named as a TOTAL DOG from his accomplishments, not only in the conformation ring but in the performance ring as well!
Rat Terriers were accepted into AKC full status June 1, 2013. Q was the #5 Rat Terrier in the US to obtain his AKC Champion title. At such a young age "Q" has had a phenomenal show career. Q earned his UKC Champion title as a puppy the first weekend he was shown. Q won the American Rat Terrier Association’s National Specialty Champion of Champions honor his second show weekend in the ring and went on that weekend to complete his Grand Championship. At his first AKC show, Q won three Best in Miscellaneous. Q earned his UKC URO1 in Rally-Obedience and his AKC Rally Novice titles, all with placements, as well as 3 UKC Total Dog awards for 2011. Q ranked nationally as the # 3 UKC Top Ten Rat Terrier having won 44 Best of Breed honors. Q was also honored with multiple Best in Multi-Breed Show wins and Reserve Best in Multi-Breed Show wins. Q won the AKC EUKANUBA Best of Breed the first year Rat Terriers were invited to compete. Male puppies for sale (JUne 30, 2015)Male #1 is a small chocolate piebald. I do not know how large he will mature to be, but he is thriving and eating well. His birth weight was 4.4 ounces and as of July 4, his weight was 7.6 ounces. He is not gaining quite an ounce a day, but seems to be healthy.
Male #2 is also a chocolate piebald. I expect this fellow to mature to 16"+ and weigh 25 lbs. at maturity. He is also eating well and thriving, easily gaining an ounce a day.
Both scoot around and are very active. I am handling them a little bit every day. I do some of the neural early stimulation with the puppies, and provide them with a stimulating playground as they grow. This includes tunnels and ramps and other obstacles to play on.
They should have very good temperaments and be people oriented, with a strong desire to be with their people and to please them. As both parents are solid hunters, I expect these pups to be the same way.
I am asking $400 each, with full health guarantee. I ask that all potential puppy buyers fill out my Puppy Buyer Questionnaire so that I can match the puppies to the best homes for them. It is important for me to make sure that my puppies will have a good life, as well as the new owners will be happy with the new puppy. The puppies will be small standards and minis. They will have their tails and dew claws removed,be dewormed and have their 1st puppy shot at 7 weeks old.They will be ready for their new homes when they are 8 weeks old. |
