THE TRUE MEANING OF "PUPPY MILL" (June 19, 2017)Did you know, the term “Puppy mill“, in fact, has no legal definition and was deemed by the Missouri supreme court to be only an OPINION? In order to create a negative image in your mind to influence that opinion, AR activists use deception and emotional blackmail with 7-10 yr. old photos from other kennels or countries, old statistics, edited videos of dogs barking at strangers and false accusations of filth, neglect and abuse. AR activists only use the derogatory term “puppy mill” with the intent to encourage prejudice towards legitimate BREEDERS.

Illegal Rescues and how easy it is to do (June 19, 2017)| I am for animal welfare and welfare only. Ten years ago, the line between rescues and breeders was very clear. That line has since been blurred creating “black-market and retail rescues”. The year of 2016 has had as many, if not more, animal cruelty seizures from “black-market rescues” verses breeder “puppy mills”. I personally have witnessed so much unnecessary animal neglect and abuse due to the lack of any proper care guidelines in a state and have decided to present “The Companion Animal Welfare Act” and Rules in which I had to change to Companion Animal Minimal Care Act and rules. WHY ARE ANIMALS STILL IN SHELTERS? (June 14, 2017)WELL, WE TALK ABOUT CORRECT AND INCORRECT HOUSING, ILLEGAL RESCUES, AND "PUPPY MILLS" BUT NOT ADDRESSING WHY THEY ARE REALLY THERE.
IRRESPONSIBLE PET OWNERS, NOT BREEDERS, WHO FAIL TO HAVE THEIR PET FIXED. IF THEY DO NOT BELIEVE IN ALTERING, THEY FAIL TO KEEP THEIR DOG/CAT SECURED. DOGS WILL BREED THROUGH CHAIN LINK. CATS WILL TEAR OUT A SCREEN WINDOW.
25% OF ANIMALS IN SHELTERS ARE PUREBREDS OR OWNER SURRENDERS. THESE ANIMALS MAYBE THE RESULT OF A PERSON DIED, MOVED, OR MY FAVORITE "DON'T MATCH MY FURNITURE".
THE OTHER 75% IS PREVENTABLE. ONE THING TO CONCIDER IS THAT SHELTERS ARE REFUSING THE PUBLIC FROM OBTAINING A FIXED ANIMAL (SLOTTED FOR DEATH ROW) TO ANYBODY WHO IS "BENEATH THEM". WHAT I MEAN IS THERE SHOULD ONLY BE 2 REASONS TO DENY A PERSON "NOT MEETING YOUR STANDARDS", A FIXED ANIMAL: 1. YOU KNOW THE INTENTION IS FOR A "BAIT" ANIMAL. 2. THE LAND LORD WILL NOT PERMIT IT.
WHEN YOU DENY PEOPLE "NOT MEETING YOUR STANDARDS", A FIXED ANIMAL, THEY WILL JUST GO TO WALMART PARKING LOT, GET A "FREE" PUPPY, AND IN ABOUT 10 MO. THEY WILL DROP YOU OFF A LITTER OF PUPPIES OR KITTENS, TWICE A YEAR FOR THE NEXT 5-7YRS.
WHY CAN WE NOT GET OVER NAME CALLING AND SOLVE THIS SIMPLE PROBLEM? HSUS (HUMAN SOCIETY OF UNITED STATES) ONCE TOLD ME,"PEOPLE DON'T DONATE FOR SPAYS/NEUTERS, THEY ONLY DONATE IF THE WORD "PUPPY MILL" IS USED". WELL THERE IS THE PROBLEM, AR ACTIVISTS ARE SHOWING THEIR TRUE COLORS AND IF "MONEY" IS NOT ENVOLVED, THEY ARE NOT INTERSTED.
WE, AS A SOCIETY, NEED TO FOCUS ON OUR TRUE PROBLEMS, NAME CALLING, UNREGULATED RESCUES/BREEDERS WITHOUT DEFINED GUIDELINES FOR PROPER CARE, AND UNALTERED PETS. THE PUBLIC AS A WHOLE NEEDS TO BE EDUCATED TO NOT TREAT ANIMALS AS "DISPOSABLE". |
