 | 6.Toolbox for JD 512 hitchWe wanted storage area on our JD 512 disc-ripper for emergency parts like shear bolts, extra point, scraper parts, etc. Didn't want to carry them in the tractor cab. Tractor tool box is too small, and too far away. Needed something somewhat waterproof & resistant to dents. A medium size plastic tool box fit the bill. I substituted a bungee latch for the factory key-twist. Key usage would be a nuisance in the field. Box can be removed from it's cradle in about 10 seconds, or less. Cradle can be removed from the hitch in less than 1 minute. No holes were drilled. | |

 | 19.Classic Plowing DayLocal "classic" owners look for somewhere to moldboard plow every yr. These photos were taken just a few mis. W of Chebanse in August of 2004. The first 10 frames are still photos. The 14 frames following those are movies & may take a few minutes to download depending on speed of your system. The photos with the "mpeg" title under the photo are movies.
To view-click on the "Download Mpeg" & the movie will open in a movie program, such as "Windows Media Player". I personally get better performance from Windows Media Player | |

 | 22.JD Factory tour & clinicOn Aug 1, we travelled to Moline, IL. Toured the JD planter & combine factory. On Aug 2, we attended local dealer sponsored training class for combines @ the JD Davenport Training Ctr.
Between the factory tours & product classes, we stopped @ the "JD Museum" near the Commons.
I recommend using the ImageEvent provided slide viewer for this album. If you don't like the default 5 second view-shorten it a bit. There are 120 photos-make sure you get thru all of them!
