Moving the boys (mid-May 2008)| Kris and Aaron and two other guys found a house to rent close to campus in downtown Houghton, MI. Kris is moving from another house further from campus, and Aaron is moving from the dorm. They both needed beds and some other furniture. We hauled a trailer load of stuff up for them this weekend. We took the ratties and made a mini vacation out of it. |

Meijer Gardens (May 16, 2003)| We were on the other side of Michigan for some business, and made a fun trip out of it too. I have wanted to visit Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids since I heard about DaVinci's horse being there. The gardens were gorgeous... indoors and out. The horse was breathtaking... and HUGE! |

Anniversary Getaway (April 11, 2004)| We went to Great Wolf Lodge (www.greatwolflodge.com) in Traverse City, Michigan to celebrate our 5th anniversary. We had an awesome room (complte with Nintendo and internet and movie rentals on both of the televisions). The indoor water park was awesome. We also went to the interactive theater where John was the big winner! :) We played games in the arcade, had ice cream, and ate at a couple eateries. All of this is located inside the hotel! |
