1982-83 Wrestling All Stars sets

1982-83 Wrestling All Stars sets

I bought these 3 sets of Pro Wrestling Enterprises Wrestling All Stars cards (still in the shrink-wrap) from Brian's Books in Santa Clara, Ca in 1983 for $5.00 each.
All three sets of 36 cards each are at least in PSA 7 (Near Mint) condition, except the Rick Martel card which has a small corner "ding" on the bottom right.
These sets contain the "Rookie" cards of many of the top stars of the 1970's and 80's, with the Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant and Ric Flair cards fetching a premium in top grade. Reportedly only 2000 of each set were produced.
The set values are speculative as my cards are ungraded, and they are rarely sold as sets any longer. Approximate 2025 values are below:
1982 Series A (36 cards): $10,000
1982 Series B (36 cards): $2,000
1983 Series A (36 cards): $2,000
At the very bottom of the page is my custom set of 1984 Wrestling All Stars cards I had made from the photos used on the 1984 (1983 copyright) Mid-South Wrestling Calendar (also produced by Pro Wrestling Enterprises). They are all blank backed and are unlicensed.
