| The third, and final, Play Ball series is a huge hobby favorite today. The addition of color results in a most attractive-looking set. The set highlights include the DiMaggio brothers (Vince, Dom, and of course Joe), Ted Williams, plus the first card of Pee Wee Reese. The 1941 set's reduction to 72 cards (from 240 cards in the 1940 issue) help to make possible the completion of this set less of a wallet - busting chore. |
