Professor Dr. Stanley E. Kerr Author: The Lions of Marash - A documented record for posterity of atrocities committed by the Turks and the tragic betrayal by the French of the Armenian inhabitants of Cilicia.
| The Lions of Marash (original book cover) is an eye-witness account by an American Near East Relief official (Dr. Stanley E. Kerr) of the tragic events which resulted in the annihilation of the Armenian population of Marash, in Central Anatolia, following World War I. (as noted on the inside flap of the LofM). It also tells of the tragic betrayal by the French of the Armenian inhabitants in Cilica.

| August 3, 1976 - response from Dr. Kerr to further correspondence in which the Chorbajian Family has invited the Kerr's out to dinner and intend to visit them in Princeton, NJ where they reside. Dr. Kerr has sent driving instructions in order for us to find his home. It was during this visit, that Dr. Kerr showed me his entire collection of photos from Marash. I requested a copy of his photos, which he gladly said he would provide. Shortly thereafter, the pictures that you see in this collection were sent to me. Unfortunately, Dr. Kerr and I never had the opportunity to meet again in order for him to identify each photo. Some will look familiar as they are featured in his book, 'The Lion's of Marash'.
