Thursday, Nov 28, 2018 was the 2nd annual "Military Appreciation Night" hosted by the Central High School Girls Varsity basketball team, and their coach, Ms Swigert. There were over 30 veterans recognized, including a group travelling from the Manteno Veterans Home. The Watseka girls team also participated and veterans from the Watseka area were also recognized.
