There was also one area of the gardens, that must be cooler than the rest, that had damage (section between the deck & first Pine tree). The Fern-leaf Peonies didn't care for the cold. Hosta 'Sunny Disposition' was the Hosta most affected by the frost.

12/3/07 - Planted a small amount of Galaxy and Korean Snow seeds and quite a bit of Blue Lightning seeds.

12/20/07 - One each of Galaxy, Blue Lightning & Korean Snow have sprouted (have to look hard to see them).

1/30/08 - One Blue Lightning sprouted from 1/17/08 batch, can barely see it.

4/22/08 - Saw the first Hosta eyes of the year on a NOID outside.

4/28/08 - Saw eyes on a second Hosta, 'Fragrant Blue'. It is tempting to remove the mulch from the Hostas to see if there are more eyes poking up. So far I have not checked under the mulch for eyes.

4/30/08 - Saw eyes on #3 - plantaginea. They have to start popping pretty soon. Went out later and saw eyes on Fragrant Fire.
