Skywalker’s rat terriers would like to introduce you to our small pack. Please feel free to browse our albums. While the pictures vary and contain photos of our pets, show dogs, and foster dogs, I can assure you that each is tremendously loved and adds much joy to our lives. While browsing we hope that you feel a bit of the happiness we do. Maybe you’ll even crack a smile. We are a small family with 3 breeding dogs. We do however take our dogs everywhere and our family often tells us that we have many children. Katie is active in conformation, obedience, flyball, go-to ground, and many more activities. Jason is active in spoiling the dogs-making Katie’s job (especially obedience) more difficult. Jason attends some (Many- Jason) events as time and travel allows. We strive to provide an excellent environment for our dogs. All of our animals eat a holistic diet, including the BARF diet and Wysong dry kibble. Each dog is actively socialized early in life with children and adults alike. Our mission at Skywalker’s: • Promote the Rat Terrier breed • Abide by the United Kennel Club standard for Rat Terriers • Ensure the health of our dogs and their litters throughout their lives • Demand our dog’s have the socialization necessary to interact with people and other dogs • Promote the natural hunting instinct All of our rat terriers have their hips, elbows, cardiac, and patellas certified by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA).
