1951 318 Poly Power Wagon (February 12, 2009)This is a current project I'm assembling. It's basicly a 1951 Dodge Power Wagon Chassis and body, with 1961 Dodge W300 power train.
So it keeps the 1940's Power Wagon look, but it gets a polysphere 318 with 4bbl carb and headders for well over 200 HP, a NP420 model syncronized transmission, and super beefy Dana model 70 axles front and back, with 4.88 gearing and rear locking differential. I am swapping the NP200 transfer case out with a NP205 transfer case so I can run the centered rear differential and a chelsea PTO on the transfer case to drive the winch. |

1984 Land Cruiser (February 2, 2009)Previous Owner 35 year ASE cert Master tech, Currently an A&P aircraft mechanic. Full rebuild to engine, transmission, transfer case using all new bearings and brass. Man-a-free header, webber 38mm carb, DUI dist, Taylor Plug wires. 100 amp Delco alternator, Danken clutch pack. Engine balenced from pressure plate to crank pulley to .02 grams. Delta .25 Camshaft installed. Just over 17 MPG freeway over a mountian pass.
All drivelines balanced and new universals. Leaf springs re-arched and add-a-leaf in front. Military heavy duty leaf springs in back. H-beam shackles and poly graphite bushings on all 8 hanger points. New swaybar poly bushings. New factory paint. Reman PS pump. 4 row radiator and carb heater plate. New Specter-off-road seat upolstery. Hella H4 EMPI 80/100 headlights, and KC off-road lights. Optima redtop Battery. Alpine CD player.Yakima Rack with luggage, ski, and bike attachments. |
