Little Stevie with my grandson Jacob. They spent hours together watching TV and playing and snuggling. Jacob did not even mind Stevie pooping on him!

Kiri CAG and Howie the Caique come down to the living room every day. They have a huge play area and a dining table set up. Sad to say, they cannot be out together, so, I had a small King Cage where one could be out while the other was safely contained.

It was time to set Little Stevie up with a downstairs cage so that he could be with us and not left alone upstairs. The cage labeled NEW is the 'safe house', and the one labeled OLD is Stevie's Studio Apartment.

Kiri is eating on the birdee dining table and Howie is dining in the new 'safe house' cage. After a few hours, Kiri will go in and Howie will be out for some Mommy time

The birdees had pancakes and blueberries for dinner. Stevie was not keen on the pancakes. I think they were too 'dry' for him.

Still August 23rd. Minutes after I introduced Stevie to his Studio Apartment. He is so adaptive. He found his toys right away and started to play.

My made from scratch veggie pancakes. This batch has sunflower seeds, brocolli, sweet red peppers and collard greens. All organic ingredients.

Yummy raspberries to top of breakfast pancakes. I think the pancakes were too dry for Stevie, so, I am going to dribble some of this juice over his portion.

Stevie's 2nd breakfast. Pancakes dribbled with raspberry juice and diced fresh, peeled mango. Stevie ate only a bit of his weaning pellets and none of his corn from early, early AM breakfast. He is too interested in trying out his wings.

Stevie flew up to the top of my head, flew off, hovered like a helicopter and then glided to earth onto the rug. He keeps flapping in his cage and takes small flights inside his upstairs cage. I hung a small birdee boing for him. I know he will soon figure out that the boing will allow him to flap his wings and excercise.
