You came to me as a confused and misunderstood 'problem child' and for the first couple of months made me think I was crazy to take you. But then you realized I wasn't giving up on you and you changed. In all my years I have never met a dog smarter than you and you never ceased to amaze me. You knew how to open your Vari-Kennel, how to lock your pesty puppies in a crate and you knew how to turn me into your devoted slave - and did. Now 16 years later, I am without you. You changed my entire life and nothing will ever be the same. Thank you for loving me, sharing your life with me and forgiving me when I made you do things you didn't want to.
You were always there. When I needed strength after the tragic loss of your grand-son, you were there. When we lost your daughter, Mimi. Mimi, that special daughter who adored both of us so unconditionally - you were my strength. Now I'm without you. I told you many times that you were my Baby Girl and I love for forever. Forever and ever and always my sweet baby-girl.
