FEMALE
The sows usually have a smooth swelling over their genital area. Sometimes, it can be bumpy looking, making you think it might be a male! If you gently part the genital opening, on a sow, a "Y" shaped opening should appear.

We purchased our little piggy from the pet store.
Well, to our suprise.....she was pregnant.
Now we have 2 additional babies. 1 was still born.

my daughters Pig gave birth just yesterday to three little fuzz balls... after reading most of these websites, we have been terrified that something was going to happen... so far so good...  not interested in going thru this again... kids know now to keep the pigs apart... this site helped educate us, especially now knowing to seperate them at just 3 weeks...

This is a great resource. I am a tech (and have been for 11 years) and now going through vet school. This is great. I hadn't done this for a long time. I remember now!!!!!
