Diablo Lake Adventure Tour
August 2, 2008

The clouds parted as we drove into Newhalem for the start of the Seattle City Light's Diablo Lake Adventure Tour. You take a bus from Newhalem up the North Cascades Highway to Diablo Dam where you board the Alice Ross III for a tour up the lake to Ross Dam and back. When we got back to Newhalem, we took the Ladder Creek Falls Loop trail.

Here is a link to an article about the Diablo Lake tour: Click Here.

Photos titles ending in "b" are by Bill and in "p" by Pip.

Hi Loved you photo's, my wife and I just returned from our trip there 8-2012 We heard of the bulldozer that went down the horsetail gorge and I was looking to learn alittle more about how and what year it went down. Thank you for your post.... :)
