| The KTRat Ranch is
located in a rural area west of Houston, Texas. We are not a kennel. Our dogs are family.
They live inside the house with us. Most of my free time is spent with my dogs in some way:
training, playing together, or just having them near whatever I am doing.

I began showing in conformation December 2006. We actively train and compete in agility, flyball, lure coursing, obedience, rally, weight pull, and nosework. My current dogs have over 100 titles in conformation and performance, with titles in each of those venues. We are also training in the new sport of barn hunt. I enjoy going to shows/trials whether we are entered or not. We just enjoy spending time together and with
other dog families. | | I will occasionally breed a litter of rat
terriers. When doing so, my goal will be to produce quality rat terriers in the areas of health,
structure, and temperament. I fully health test my dogs that I consider breeding. All results,
good or bad, will be posted on the OFA web site. Only dogs passing all tests (Patella, Cardiac,
Hips, LCP, Elbows, CERF) will be bred. Please see “Why I Test” to understand why I stress
