I do not have litters very often, but, when I do this where I share them and the activities we all do. Please enjoy your look.

At this time, we have no puppies available.  If you are looking for a rat terrier, please email me at KTRat Ranch.  I may know of someone who has what you are looking for.

Ten Weeks Old
2. Ten Weeks Old  (November 9, 2009)
The MASH boyz have been so much fun over the past few weeks, I haven't taken time to post any pictures.  I did take a few candid shots, which are shown in the "Candid Shots" page.

These boyz have GROWN!!!  I anticipate they will all be larger than their momma Amber and three of them have consistently weighed in larger than their daddy Wyatt at respective dates.  Time will tell.

Six Weeks Old
3. Six Weeks Old  (October 16, 2009)
This week the photo shoot didn't go so well.  It was late ... I was tired ... and I didn't get around to posting the pics until the boyz were almost seven weeks old.

The boyz are loving exploring new areas.  They love to "escape" from me in the house and check out everything they can get to.  They are all very inquisitive.  It's gonna be HARD to let these boys go ... and the time is coming up way too fast.

Five Weeks Old
4. Five Weeks Old  (October 5, 2009)
The boyz continue to grow and develop their own personalities.  Radar is still the quite calm guy ... he is so lovable.  Hawkeye is laid back but will join in or initiate squabbles at times ... he LOVES to give your chin kisses.  BJ just goes around hunting someone to pick on ... and LOVES to chew on my big toes ... OUCH!!  Trapper plays but also enjoys a good fight ... and loves to cuddle.  It is going to be SO HARD to pick one to keep.  They all have reached the stage of "pouncing" on their prey ... be it one of their brothers, a toy, piece of paper, etc.

Radar is about 2 ounces heavier than Momma Amber was at five weeks.  The other three are bigger than Momma Amber AND Daddy Wyatt at this age.  They say "Just wait and see .... we're gonna be BIG BOYS!!"

This week they went on a field trip to Jeri and Tim's and also to Tractor Supply.  They were introduced to ground chicken necks and backs, salmon, and tripe.  And for the photo shoot, they munched on ground beef patties from a hamburger.

I had hoped to put the xpen outside this past weekend and let them play outside .. but it was windy and raining.  Maybe next weekend.

I hope you enjoy the five week photos.  I was so tired Sunday evening I just threw a towel over a box and set it on the counter for photos.  I think the boyz are a bit big for the background ... and they kept walking away from it.

For a peek into some of the things they've been doing, go to the "Candid shots".

Four Weeks Old
5. Four Weeks Old  (September 27, 2009)
It's hard to believe these boys have already been around for four weeks.  We had some new experiences this week.  Friday they went to my office to meet some new people.  They met several people of various nationalities, men and women.  They were a little nervous at first but settled in to all the attention.  They also walked around on concrete.

Saturday they moved to their new digs in the dog room.  They experienced walking on compressed wood shavings.  Again, they adjusted to it just fine.

They are lapping formula and today got their first goat's milk.  They said YUMM YUMM.  They will start getting some ground chicken within the next couple of days.

Their personalities are really coming out now.  It is so cute to watch them spar with one another and bark at me when I come in.  Trapper is always saying "PICK ME!! PICK ME!!".

Three Weeks Old
6. Three Weeks Old  (September 20, 2009)
These boys really GREW this week.  Eyes opened, ears opened, and they started to toddle ... then took off.  They are so much fun.  They tasted formula for the first time today.  I just let them lick it off my finger ... Hawkeye really went after it.

Jeri came over and helped with the photo shoot.  THANKS JERI!!!  Now, if I just knew how to take decent photos.  I REALLY need to learn how to use my camera!!  But I hope you enjoy these photos ... even though many are blurry.

Two Weeks Old
7. Two Weeks Old  (September 13, 2009)
The boys are now two weeks old.  They continue to do very well and grow like weeds.  They have all more than tripled their birth weight.

They went to the vet for a checkup and to get stitches out.  The vet was VERY impressed at how solid these guys are.  He kept commenting at how strong each one was.

Their personalities are starting to really come out.  They all seem to have their share of "Rattitude" and will let you know when things aren't going their way, like their first nail clipping!

Please enjoy their two week photo shoots with us.

One Week Old
8. One Week Old  (September 6, 2009)
The boys are now one week old.  Boy have they grown.  Early in the week I didn't think they would double their weight in the first week, but all but one did by day six.  That one did on day seven.  Even BJ, the one I didn't think would make it, is doing great.  Amber is a super momma.

They got to meet some new people this week, including Ms. Jeri all the way from Scotland.  They think she's pretty cool (especially her massages).

We started the Super Dog (Early Neurological Stimulation) prgram on day three.  This really brings out the personality in each boy.

Please enjoy these one week old pics with us.

Newborns
9. Newborns  (August 25, 2009)
Welcome to the Mash 4077 unit ... stateside.  My Dad gave me my love of dogs, genetically and environmentally.  So, I decided to name these guys after one of Dad's favorite TV shows .... MASH.

These boys were born on Sunday, August 30, 2009.  They are delightful.  A couple of them gave momma Amber (and me) a hard time entering the world, but are now just as sweet as they can be ... well most of the time when they're getting their way.

September 2, 2009 .. The boys had their tails docked and dew claws removed today. I think Amber was much more upset than them.  But all are back in the box and happy.  They start the Super Dog (Early Neurological Stimulation) program tonight.  That will be fun.
