In keeping with our breeding goals, I wanted to include some pictures of our dogs at work...on farms, around the house & out in the woods.
Rat Terriers (if bred true to instinct) have a tendency to chase & kill vermin and small game. Mice, Rats, Moles, Squirrels, Woodchucks, Rabbits and sometimes Coons are hunted with this breed.
I need to get more photos of our dogs hunting in the woods & hopefully some more squirrel hunting pictures/tailgates as we get more involved in the sport.

12 Honey kept falling through the crust on the snow (she's heavy) so she tried creeping up on it lol!
13 Girls sniffing deer tracks. Flutter's got her nose to the ground on one of them. The little ones think they'll find a deer if they dig enough. LOL

20 Sunday 11/29, I took Dora & Britches out back for a walk before Church. We were just walking along the tractor trail, then Dora took off ahead of me, sniffing at the ground and zig zagging, then she stopped on one spot and started rolling. then got up, looked around and as Britches and I caught up to her, 6 partridges took off, Dora dashed after them adn I scrambled for my pocket camera...

23 Dora & Britches on the way back to the house, they found a mouse/ rat nest or moles or somethnig, they kept digging & shaking stuff and going back in. Must be a nest!
