Buckhorn Hunting Terriers is located in Northern California. Buckhorn is a hunter whose goal is to breed the very best quality Decker Hunting Terriers possible that possess inherited natural hunting ability. All my dogs are personal hunting companions and are proven hunters used in the field for deer, raccoon, squirrel and all types of quarry.
Milton Decker of Alvadore, Oregon in the year 1975, developed the Decker Hunting Terrier line. The dogs produced from these lines are excellent all around hunters. The Decker Hunting Terrier is capable of hunting vermin, squirrel, deer, cougar, bear, pig, coon and upland game. Today, a few committed breeders are joining together to preserve the original traits that Milton Decker developed. Buckhorn Hunting Terriers is proud to help carry-on the Decker Hunting Terrier line that Milton Decker created.
