Ownership came back and said, after 6pm, weekends, or holidays, although george himself would be okay with after 3pm if we keep some access to broadway. Ask $2500/hour with 4hour minimum, likely flexible for longer day. Built circa 1983. Recently had Sarah Jessica Parker film in February (film on MLK day). Cool, but nearly impossible night-for-day cheat. |

Building owner must approve shoots. apparently when he's pretty hands on with these things, and it all comes down to his say-so, which I think is a good thing, since according to James, the owner is always interested in making a buck. That said, the owner is currently over seas, but he can be reached rather rapidly apparently and a fast turn-around a shoot day here seems quite possible. James' biggest concern is blocking access to the building. over all seems quite film friendly. Feature in Die Hard 3. |

Bush Tower American Properties, Inc. 130 West 42nd Street New York, NY 10036
Nicholas Ghattas - Building Manager T.212.840.1500 nbghattas@americanproperties.com
Notes: - Nicholas is a little reticent about filming. He is very concerned about the impact on tenants. - He wants to know the exact hours and times of filming. Also, he would like us to tie in power so that we don’t run cables out the doors. - He didn't offer any restrictions. I think he just wants our request to be specific. - 10k-12k for lobby filming. |

Film friendly, but weekends only. The picture/video screen comes down easy. This is an S.L Greene building, but I did not know that till my appointment. I think it is OK. They are better about shoots if a tenant is on board.

Woolworth Building *****new notes per KB scout Aug 3rd, 2012 see below******* Woolworth Bulding 233 Broadway btw Barclay & Park Pl C: Roy Suskin 212-233-7070
We can shoot in the far lobby but we would not have full control of the lobby. We are allowed to post PA's and signs asking people to be quiet during filming. But we would have to enable people to go to the center security desk. 10k for the day. There is a crows nest it is 10 walking stories up. No elevator. additional 30k to film up there mainly for the difficulty of achieving such a goal. We are able to shoot the basement areas during the day. |
