Lucinda and Woody puppies are due April 21, 2026. They will be going home at eight weeks old in mid-June.
This is an exceptional repeat breeding and will be Lucinda's last litter. She was scheduled to be spayed on Dec. 15, 2025 but she developed a cough and so the surgery was cancelled. The inquiries came in for long coated puppies so maybe it was meant to be!
Some puppies will have a short, smooth coat like Lucinda and some will have a longer coat like Woody. Lucinda carries the recessive gene for the long coat. We will know coat length when the puppies are two weeks old.
Regarding puppy colors. Lucinda is a black tri and carries the dilute gene but not the chocolate gene. Woody is chocolate & white and carries the dilute gene. Therefore, puppies may be black & white, black tri, blue & white and blue tri. There will be no chocolate or pearl puppies in this litter.
Tails will be docked, dew claws will be removed and puppies will be properly dewormed with Panacur C (fenbendazole).
